Kevin is now expanding out and playing solo shows as well. He incorporates live looping with his guitar skills and has a wonderful repertoire of great covers and poignant originals. A bit of history
Kevin started playing at the young age of 8 and has not stopped since. Fresh out of high school he was part of Max Flyer in upstate NY opening for bands like Pat Travers and Leslie West. His next big project was an acoustic duo called Strange Arrangement based out of the Albany area in New York state. Formed in 1986 with singer songwriting partner Dan Sherwin, the duo had an amazing following of fans! The duo produced 3 full albums of original music and opened for many great acts including Styx, The Band, B.B King, Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead, UB40, and more. They expanded to a full band and wowed crowds from NYC to Saratoga NY and everywhere in between. The band members decided to call it quits as the road life was taking its toll. Kevin, and his wife Whitney focused on their 3 children and simplified things. Kevin started playing solo acoustic shows and found it very satisfying! The next chapter brought them to Florida in 2010. Shortly after moving to Florida, he started playing his acoustic guitar again and landed some solo gigs around the Sarasota area. He was introduced to Callie Chappell in 2014 and that meeting turned into a long term musical journey with “THE WHOLE BAND”. He and Callie co-led the band for 11 years. Writing, creating, playing festivals and being a mainstay on Siesta Key for those 11 years. Sadly, in July of 2024, bandmate Zack Yoder (guitar phenom) passed away and original bandmate Dave Pearce (pedal steel) could no longer play due to medical reasons. Kevin and Callie continue to write and record. Kevin is also focused on his solo acoustic act which combines choice cover songs, originals, and a live looping technique that keeps listeners enthralled.
